South-South cooperation (SSC) is about developing countries working together to find solutions to common development challenges. Linked by similarities in their development contexts and challenges, the countries of the South have been increasingly active in sharing knowledge, exchanging technologies and forming common agenda and collective actions. We assist in providing viable opportunities for developing countries in Arab States, Europe and the CIS in their individual and collective pursuit of sustained economic growth and sustainable development, as well as providing a path to balancing growth and equity in the context of a “new collaborative global partnership for sustainable development”.
