Division for Arab States, Europe and the CIS, UNOSSC, initiates the production of thematic publications on scalable and replicable innovative solutions in agricultural development that may contribute to sustainable development in the Arab States and the Europe and the CIS regions and beyond.

We would like to invite relevant experts to apply for the assignments for providing Consultancy Services for the Production of Electronic Publications on South-South Cooperation Trends and Examples of Home-grown Innovative Solutions from Across the Arab States, Europe and the CIS in the following areas:

The deadline for the submission of applications is 7 April 2017.

The publications will be produced within the framework of the partnership initiative on South-South and Triangular Cooperation for Agricultural Development and Enhanced Food Security (SSTC-ADFS) that is  jointly supported by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), and UNOSSC.

The main focus of the partnership initiative is on further advancing the South-South Cooperation among the participating countries, namely, Algeria, Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, as well as Kazakhstan which may join the initiative subject to the decision of the national government counterparts, as well as other countries in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Central Asia and beyond through identification, pilot-testing, and documentation of successful models and approaches ready for replication.
